8+ Most Memorable Quotes And Memes From Bridgerton, Season 4

By

Bridgerton is officially back for it’s fourth season (or at least, the first part of it), which means we’re finally getting to reconnect with some of our favorite characters—and for some of them, things have changed a lot. Eloise spent time in Scotland with the newly-married Francesca and her husband, Penelope now has her own family while continuing on with her Whistledown legacy, and Benedict… Well, Benedict is the same as he always is, until he meets a mysterious stranger and suddenly, he’s not.

But still, these are the characters we’ve grown to know and love, and they’re just as endearing, hilarious, and sometimes insane as they’ve always been. Don’t believe me? Here are the best quotes and memes from Bridgerton season 4:

1. Eloise comes home from traveling abroad—and has a lot of opinions about Scotland.

2. Benedict called his lovers “acquaintances” to his mother (despite being caught having a threesome with them)

If only the word “situationship” had existed back then.

3. Lady Danbury’s brother really showed up to the masquerade ball not only trying to outshine his sister’s outfit but also trying to bag her best friend.

4. Watching Violet Bridgerton call out her children’s bad behavior consistently (like when Benedict showed up drunk to the ball) will truly never get old.

5. Benedict was saying what we were all thinking when he pointed out how pointless the masks at the ball really were.

6. Benedict finally met his match with Sophie, who not only saw through his (metaphorical) disguise, but also challenged him to do better.

7. Queen Charlotte literally went from hunting Lady Whistledown for sport to being absolutely DELIGHTED to be working with her personally.

8. Not a season goes by where Benedict doesn’t prove that he is the funniest, most charming Bridgerton of them all (even if not everyone in the Ton appreciates his humor)

I do love the idea of Gregory going through a glow-up that makes him look like a 30+-year-old man.

9. Penelope acting like she’s scared to ruin people’s lives, even though she basically ruined every single other character’s reputation on the show at some point or another.

10. While season four has been set up to act as a Cinderella story, there are really SO many different pieces of media that the show has taken inspiration from.

11. Violet Bridgerton isn’t afraid of what she might walk in on when it comes to her children—which is actually very brave of her, considering one of her children is Benedict Bridgerton, who is known for his orgies.

12. Violet Bridgerton really IS the embodiment of every Reba song that’s ever existed.

13. Seriously, though, why does this season of Bridgerton feel like it’s reheating Downton Abbey’s nachos and borrowing a little too much from its storylines?

14. That being said, we’ll always love an homage to past Cinderella stories in the past (even though some of them do it better).

15. We noticed Sophie’s mask looked a LOT like something we’ve already seen before in Gray’s Anatomy—but at least Shonda is consistent.

16. You can directly tell which Bridgerton brother is supposed to be the leading man of the season based on his haircut—prove me wrong.

17. In another world, Bridgerton finally admits that Benedict and Eloise have a little TOO much chemistry—but since they’re English nobility, it’s not actually that big of a deal.

18.
